Podcast Recording

Create crystal-clear audio content in the heart of Nagoya. We provide a professional environment where you can focus entirely on your conversation while our engineers handle the technical precision.

In the modern digital landscape, audio quality is a direct reflection of your brand's credibility. At Quemadozone, we eliminate the distractions of home recording—such as air conditioning hum or city traffic—by providing a dedicated, acoustically treated space. Using professional-grade condenser microphones and precise signal chains, we capture the natural timbre of every voice, ensuring your listeners stay engaged from the first second to the last.

Our approach goes beyond simply pressing a record button. Our engineers manage input levels in real-time, monitor for clipping, and ensure optimal microphone placement for every guest. This professional oversight significantly reduces the time required for post-production and editing, allowing you to maintain a consistent and efficient content creation cycle. Whether you are an independent creator or a corporate communications officer, our Nagoya studio is equipped to bring your vision to life.

Our 4-Step Recording Process

01

Pre-Session Briefing

We discuss your show's concept, the number of participants, and the intended tone of the conversation. This allows us to prepare the ideal microphone configuration and signal routing before you arrive.

02

Setup & Soundcheck

Upon arrival, we adjust microphone height and angles for each speaker. We conduct a short test recording to verify voice clarity and set the precise input levels to avoid any distortion.

03

The Recording Session

Our engineer monitors the waveforms from the control room, ensuring stable levels and filtering out accidental noises. You can focus entirely on the dialogue while we guard the technical quality.

04

Export & Delivery

Once the session wraps, we organize the raw data. We export the files into your requested formats and deliver them via secure digital transfer for immediate use in your production pipeline.

Who is this service for?

Our podcast recording services are designed for a variety of audio creators. First, we cater to independent podcasters who have outgrown home setups and require a silent, professional environment to eliminate background noise. We also work extensively with corporate clients who need high-fidelity recordings for internal communications, B2B marketing interviews, or expert panels where audio quality represents the company's professional image.

Additionally, this service is essential for multi-guest formats. Recording each voice on a separate, isolated track is the only way to ensure flexible editing and balanced volume levels in post-production. In accordance with our studio policy, individuals aged 16 and over may book and use the studio independently; those under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

The Studio Workflow

On the day of your session, the process begins in the control room where the engineer confirms the recording plan. You will then move to the Live room or the Vocal booth, depending on the number of guests. At Quemadozone, we prioritize a relaxed atmosphere, with adjustable lighting and comfortable seating to ensure that the conversation feels natural and unforced.

Throughout the session, you will receive a real-time monitor feed through professional headphones. This allows you to hear exactly how your voice is being captured, making it easy to adjust your distance from the microphone or modulate your tone on the fly. Our engineers remain vigilant, preventing digital clipping even during high-energy moments of the discussion.

What to Prepare Before Your Visit

To maximize your studio time, we recommend a few preparations. First, please provide a rough outline or a script of the episode. While a full script isn't mandatory, a list of talking points helps us manage the recording duration more effectively. If you are inviting guests, please share the studio's access details, including the walking route from Nagoya Station, to ensure a punctual start.

No technical equipment is required from your side; all microphones, headphones, and recording interfaces are provided by the studio. However, if you have specific delivery requirements—such as a particular sample rate or bit depth for an external editor—please notify us during the booking process so we can configure the session accordingly.

Deliverables and File Formats

After the recording, we provide the following assets. The primary delivery consists of multi-track WAV files, where each speaker is isolated on their own track. This is critical for professional mixing, as it allows the editor to adjust the volume or EQ of one person without affecting the others. For quick review purposes, we also provide a summed MP3 file of the entire session.

Our standard delivery specification is 48kHz/24-bit WAV, which is the industry benchmark for broadcasting and digital streaming platforms. Files are delivered via secure digital transfer. Furthermore, Quemadozone maintains a secure archive of your sessions for 12 months, providing peace of mind should you accidentally lose your local copies.

Timeline and Scheduling

Delivery of raw recording data typically occurs on the same day or by the next business day. For simple recordings, we can often export the files immediately upon completion. If you require basic noise cleanup or level normalization, additional time will be scheduled. All booking requests are responded to within 24 hours.

To secure your date and the necessary engineering staff, a 30% deposit of the total session cost is required upon confirmation. This ensures that the studio space and equipment are reserved exclusively for your project.

What is NOT included

This specific plan is dedicated to the "Recording" phase of production. Consequently, it does not include extensive post-production editing, such as removing "umms" and "ahhs," inserting background music, or creating custom jingles. These tasks are handled separately under our Mixing services. We also do not provide distribution services, such as uploading files to Spotify or Apple Podcasts, nor do we offer scriptwriting or content strategy.

Please note that while we strive for perfection, extreme audio restoration (such as removing heavy external noise that was captured during the session) has technical limits and is not guaranteed. This is why we place such heavy emphasis on the controlled environment of our studio.

Pricing and VAT Calculation

Pricing is calculated based on the total duration of studio usage. All rates are listed in Euros (EUR) as per our international standard; for local payments in Japan, these are converted to Japanese Yen based on the current exchange rate. In accordance with Japanese law, a 10% consumption tax (VAT) is added to the base rate.

For B2B (corporate) contracts, payment terms are set to 14 days from the date of invoice issuance. Regarding cancellations, we offer free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled session. For more detailed information on our financial policies, please refer to our Terms of Use.
